Education:
Paul graduated from Duke in December, 2003, and joined our lab in January, 2004, to work on projects related to lichenicolous and endophytic fungi. His duties included assistance with culture maintenance and vouchering, DNA extraction and PCR, sequencing, and preparation and analysis of molecular sequence data for fungi.
Paul is spending the summer solo-hiking the Pacific Crest trail and will start a Ph.D. program in biology at the University of Minnesota in August, 2004.
